Sunday School

The Youth Sunday School has been a learning experience not only for the children but for me also. The curriculum is divided into three different age groups, grades 1 to 3 or the non reading group, then grades 4 to 7, then of course the teen age group. All the children are eager to learn and are very bright.

We always greet the children and inquire about their week, followed by prayer. After devotion, we separate into our classes and begin the lessons for the week. My individual way of teaching is to reiterate what our lesson for Sunday is several times during the lesson so the children will remember their lesson. I was very proud the first Sunday that my children remembered what they had learned when asked in the Sanctuary.

We usually gather again to pray and close together before we adjourn and go into morning service.

Hopefully our classes will grow. The children enjoy the classes, and we have fun learning about the Bible.
