Rev. Amos Oladipo believes the purpose of our Church is to involve every member in some form of meaningful ministry. His goal is to assist people in discovering what God is calling them to do in our community and the world.
As well as having earned three degrees in theology and religion in his native Nigeria, Rev. Oladipo holds a Master’s of Divinity from the Perkins School of Theology in Dallas. He also holds a Masters in Religious Studies from Southern Methodist University where he is completing his Ph.D. dissertation. He also holds a Certificate of Business Administration from Loyola Chicago.
Hughbert Clay has received the Master of Music degree from the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford and has studied in Europe. He has been playing piano since 1967 and has held musical positions at various churches throughout the South, New England, and Chicago. Hugh currently serves as Musical Director at Epworth and welcomes all who love to sing to come and find the joy of singing and fellowship of the Spirit in the Epworth Choir.
Bhecky Manaytay is Epworth's Lay Leader and has been a member of Epworth for many years. As the Lay Leader, Bhecky represents the congregation to the Northern Illinois District. Susan Mattison is the Welcoming Coordinator for Epworth. Susan leads Christian education classes regularly and is interested in getting to know all the visitors to Epworth. She is more than happy to talk to visitors about Epworth, Methodism, and Christianity.
Bruce Greene has been an active member of Epworth since 2002. He currently serves as Chairperson of Administrative Council, Trustee Chairperson and Church Historian. He received his B. S. in Architectural History and Historic Preservation from Eastern Michigan University.
